Our social channels are not built for entertainment-first content. They exist to educate, clarify, and build trust at scale. This role is central to that mission.
Job requirements
This is a research-first, high-ownership role responsible for turning visa, travel and traveller insights into engaging, accurate social content.
You will own the entire lifecycle of a content idea, from scouting insights and identifying content opportunities, to scripting and working closely with the content creator and editing team to ensure the final output is engaging and aligned with Atlys’ standards.
This is not a posting or calendar-management role. It is suited for someone who enjoys working hands-on with content and can independently take an insight and convert it into a high-performing Instagram or YouTube piece.
What You’ll Do
1. Research & Insight Discovery
Actively scout for insights across visa policy updates, embassy advisories, search trends, social conversations and real traveller queries.
Stay close to traveller pain points around timelines, documentation, costs and rejection risks.
Identify which insights are worth turning into content and why, based on relevance, urgency and intent.
2. Insight-to-Content Ownership
Translate research insights into clear, compelling content ideas for Instagram and YouTube.
Decide the right format (reel, carousel, short, long-form) based on the insight and platform behaviour.
Own scripting end-to-end, including hooks, structure, and messaging, ensuring accuracy without losing engagement.
3. Hands-on Content Creation
Be present during shoots and actively guide execution to ensure the content communicates the intended insight clearly.
Work closely with the editing team, providing detailed creative inputs on pacing, visual cues, captions, and clarity.
Ensure the final published content meets Atlys’ standards for accuracy, usefulness, and engagement.
4. Channel Ownership & Direction
Provide strategic direction for Instagram & YouTube content, aligned with traveller research and long-term authority-building.

Define content frameworks such as:
Visa timelines by passport
Cost and documentation breakdowns
Common rejection reasons
First-time international travel explainers
Policy or rule-change updates
5. Performance & Iteration
Track performance across saves, shares, watch time, CTR, and intent signals.
Use performance data to refine scripting styles, formats, and storytelling approaches.
Continuously raise the bar on how complex visa information is communicated on social.
What You Bring
5–6 years of experience in social media, content strategy, or video-led content roles.
If you are someone who has a keen eye for insights that could be meaningfully mined into evocative storytelling, even a data or analytics background won’t be a hindrance
Strong research instincts and the ability to independently identify meaningful content insights.
Proven experience scripting and shaping short-form and/or long-form video content.
Comfort working hands-on with shoots and collaborating closely with editors and creators.
Deep understanding of Instagram and YouTube content behaviour.
High ownership mindset, strong judgement, and attention to detail in accuracy-sensitive content.
Experience in travel, fintech, or information-heavy categories is a strong plus.
