We’re looking for engineers with grit and vision who want to build a modern platform to make travelling efficient and delightful. This role is critical in achieving our goals - expanding coverage to support more destinations worldwide, automating entire processes and reducing support volume to offer a truly self-serve experience. We talk to customers daily, ship code several times a day, and measure every little interaction!

The Job

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across web, backend, and cloud infrastructure

• Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities through regular testing and monitoring

• Conduct application security reviews, threat modelling, and penetration testing

• Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines by integrating security checks (DevSecOps)

• Monitor security events and lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and remediation

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to embed security-by-design

• Support compliance initiatives such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and internal security audits

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Has 3+ years of experience in security engineering, application security, or DevSecOps

• Strong understanding of web security principles (OWASP Top 10, API security, authentication & authorisation)

• Hands-on experience securing cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)

• Experience with security tools for vulnerability scanning, monitoring, and testing

• Familiar with encryption, secrets management, and identity & access management

• Demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication

• Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while balancing speed with security
