We are a high-growth, fast-scaling company looking for a hands-on Finance Controller who thrives on ownership, execution, and delivering results. This role is ideal for someone who wants to move beyond routine accounting and play a core role in building finance foundations at scale.

The Job

• End-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for India entities with high accuracy

• Drive and improve month-end hard close processes including consolidated financial statements

• Set up inter company process, billing and cross charge mechanism

• Oversee GL accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and P&L reviews

• Apply accounting standards across IND AS, IGAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP (working knowledge expected)

• Lead statutory, tax, and consolidation audits; act as primary point of contact for auditors

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis and other FP&A projects

• Set up and document accounting policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks

• Identify control gaps, risks, and remediation actions; support internal audit setup

• Build automation and efficiency into finance processes

• Use data and analytics (Power BI / Grafana / Alteryx or similar) to drive insights
  

The Ideal Candidate

• 4–5 years of experience in controllership, audit, or core finance roles; couple of years of Big4 experience would be preferred

• Experience with working on GCP, Cloudflare and Self hosted security tools (Mandatory)

• Strong communication skills and able to articulate an problem statement and the resolutions clearly

• Strong fundamentals in financial reporting, audits, and controls

• Working knowledge of Indian and UAE tax laws

• Comfortable in ambiguous, fast-moving startup environments

• Execution-first: you don’t wait for perfect systems; you build them

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
