ANINE BING is looking for a Head of Design to join its Design team based in Paris.
The Head of Design is the creative visionary behind ANINE BING’s collections, embodying the brand’s core values of creativity, quality, and empowerment. This leader drives innovation while ensuring consistency across all designs, maintaining the brand’s signature aesthetic, and pushing boundaries to keep ANINE BING at the forefront of attainable luxury fashion.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and forward-thinking creative with a deep understanding of contemporary fashion and the ability to translate brand DNA into elevated collections. They are a strong leader with the ability to inspire, mentor, and guide a high-performing team, ensuring each collection is both trend-relevant and commercially successful.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and execute the creative vision for ANINE BING’s ready-to-wear collections, ensuring alignment with brand identity and business objectives.
- Lead and mentor the design team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Oversee the end-to-end design process, from concept ideation to final product, ensuring quality and consistency across all categories.
- Collaborate closely with merchandising, production, and marketing teams to create collections that balance creative vision with commercial viability.
- Research and analyze fashion trends, emerging technologies, and consumer insights to inform design strategies and maintain market relevance.
- Ensure all designs reflect ANINE BING’s attainable luxury positioning, focusing on premium fabrics, craftsmanship, and effortless silhouettes.
- Represent ANINE BING at industry events, collaborations, and key brand moments, reinforcing the brand’s influence in the fashion space.
Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience in fashion design, with a strong background in contemporary or luxury womenswear.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field preferred.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing creative teams.
- Deep understanding of garment construction, textile development, and the full product lifecycle.
- Strong ability to blend creativity with commercial awareness, ensuring collections resonate with the ANINE BING customer.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English & French.
