ASSSISTANT DESIGNER, WOVENS

ANINE BING is looking for a Assistant Wovens Designer to join our team based in Paris.

The Assistant Wovens Designer is a creative visionary and ambassador for our brand, charged with leading the design and development of innovative knitwear collections. This role embodies our commitment to quality craftsmanship and contemporary design, balancing artistic creativity with commercial acumen.

The ideal candidate is strategic, detail-oriented, and passionate about sustainable, trend-setting knitwear.

This role will collaborate closely with senior designers and cross-functional teams to bring creative concepts to life.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist in the end-to-end design process for knitwear collections, from concept to final product.
  • Research and integrate current trends, innovative materials, and cutting-edge techniques.
  • Collaborate with yarn suppliers, manufacturers, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and quality.
  • Align creative concepts with commercial objectives and the brand’s signature aesthetic.
  • Manage production timelines and oversee the integration of sustainability practices.
  • Present design concepts and collection updates to internal teams and senior management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in knitwear design within the fashion industry.
  • Advanced technical expertise in knitting techniques, yarn selection, and production processes.
  • Proven leadership managing projects from initial sketches to final production.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual in English (French is a plus).
  • Strong organizational and collaborative abilities to balance creative innovation with business goals.
  • Fluent in English & French.
