ANINE BING is seeking a Senior Designer specializing in handbags and small leather goods to join our dynamic Design team.
This Senior Designer, Handbags & SLG, is highly creative, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

This role is based out of our Paris HQ.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process for bags and small leather goods, including trend research, concept development, CADs, and creating detailed tech packs.
- Source materials and trims for bags and small leather goods, ensuring alignment with design requirements and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Production team to adhere to the time and action calendar, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
- Oversee the development of prototypes, managing all details via PLM systems and vendor communication.
- Review and correct prototypes received, providing clear feedback to vendors to ensure alignment with design specifications.
- Conduct trend and market research to inform designs, staying ahead of industry trends and maintaining a competitive edge.
- Maintain consistent communication with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure seamless execution of collections.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet strict deadlines.
- Uphold ANINE BING’s design integrity and quality standards throughout the development process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field. (preferred but not required with equivalent experience).
- 7-10 years of experience in bags, leather goods, or similar product categories; experience with contemporary fashion brands is a plus.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel; experience with PLM systems is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of leather, fabrics, and materials, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
