ABOUT THE ROLE:
We seek a highly analytical and curious Business Intelligence Analyst / Developer with 3–5 years of experience in BI or Data Analytics. The ideal candidate will transform complex datasets into actionable insights, drive data-informed decision-making, and build intuitive dashboards, analyses, and reports to support strategic initiatives. Experience in the healthcare, technology, or pet care industries is a significant plus.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Business Intelligence & Reporting

Design, build, and maintain Looker dashboards and reports (or equivalent BI tools)

Develop, implement, and automate data reporting solutions and analyses for various business needs.

Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and validation across reports and visualizations.

Work cross-departmentally in providing adequate data reports and analyses in order to solve for enterprise client requests, internal OKRs, and key quarterly initiatives
Data Analysis & Insight Generation

Analyze large and complex datasets using SQL (e.g., Redshift, PostgreSQL)

Identify trends, correlations, and anomalies to support strategic and operational decisions.

Extrapolate complex datasets and convert them into easy-to-follow reporting and analyses for department leads.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, including the executive leadership team

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and performance metrics.

Conduct client and internal training sessions on BI tools and data methodology.
WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A STRONG FIT FOR THE ROLE?

3+ years of experience in SQL for data retrieval and manipulation

Proficiency in BI tools (Looker preferred)

Strong data visualization and storytelling skills
Nice to Have:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Business, Statistics)

Familiarity with ETL tools and processes; experience with Python and Airflow is a plus

Experience in healthcare, technology, pet care, or related data environments

Familiarity with statistical modeling and/or predictive analytics techniques
